IMG

IMG, or Information Management Group is a students’ group in IIT Roorkee. We provide technical solutions, tools, resources and knowledge for the enhancement of web applications and information resources, and other technical fields such as GIS, networking and security.

ChESS

“ChESS”, The Chemical Engineering Student's Society, is a student's organization of the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Roorkee.It acts as an interface between the students and the experienced faculty, thereby, removing the gap between them.

CEC

Civil Engineering Consortium is the interaction community of the civil engineers on the web, a portal to notify the latest technological advancements of today. We work on technical civil projects while at the same time promote the culture of Civil Engineering.

E-Cell

The Entrepreneurship Cell of IIT-Roorkee, previously known as Entrepreneurship Development Cell IIT Roorkee (EDC IITR), has been established with the objective of creating, fostering and promoting the spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth of the nation.

IEEE

The IEEE Student Branch activities offer numerous educational, technical, and professional opportunities through various events.

EESS

Electrical Engineering Students' Society is a student-run body composed of Electrical Engineering students from all the years. We aim to promote interaction amongst all the students and the faculty of the department.

MIESS

A self financed organization which sponsors all student activities and those related to faculty.Established way back in 1980’s ,since then has been playing active role in increasing the interaction among the department’s students.

SAE

Society of Automotive Engineers IIT Roorkee collegiate chapter was established in March 2000 with the collective effort of a group of students who had a strong urge to complement the theoretical knowledge imparted in the classroom, with emphasis on the practical aspects of engineering.

ASME

The ASME Student Chapter at IIT Roorkee is an undergraduate club comprised of students majoring in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering.

ACM

The IIT Roorkee ACM Student Chapter is an official student body under the aegis of the Student Technical Council (STC) of IIT Roorkee.

AWWA

The Student Chapter of the American Water Works Association, IIT Roorkee aims to provide a common platform for young water professionals to connect with each other and share technical ideas and research prospects.

UBA

We’re a student body of IIT Roorkee inspired by the vision of transformational change in rural development to help build the architecture of an inclusive India.

Geek Gazette

Geek Gazette is the official technical magazine of IIT Roorkee with content specifically curated for exuberant, technogeek, and apprized inhabitants of IIT Roorkee and beyond.

NCC

IIT Roorkee offers the students an opportunity to be part of the NCC. The Institute cadets are part of the 3UK CTR (3 Uttarakhand Composite Technical Regiment) of the NCC.
